Enerim and Swedish Göteborg Energi have agreed on the delivery of a customer information system. Göteborg Energi is Sweden’s fourth largest energy company.
Technology, information management and digital platforms play an important role in accelerating the transformation of the energy sector, as the volume of data exchanged in the electricity market will increase significantly in the near future.
The partnership agreement with Göteborg Energi covers a comprehensive EnerimCIS customer information system specifically designed for the customer data processing and billing management of energy companies.
“At the moment, we work across three separate systems but, with EnerimCIS, we get the opportunity to work in one and the same system, no matter what we do. This will make it easier to analyse customer needs, retrieve data and handle invoicing, among other things,” says Patrik Grantås, Director of Sales and Marketing at Göteborg Energi.
Göteborg Energi identified the need to support the company’s long-term digital strategy and strengthen competitiveness by improving its operations. According to Patrik Grantås, the company needed a modern and user-friendly tool. Enerim’s solution will enable Göteborg Energi to focus on improving its customer experience in the future.
“The cooperation with Göteborg Energi strengthens our position as a Nordic operator as we expand the customer base of our EnerimCIS customer information system outside Finland. We can see that the transformation of the energy sector and digitalisation are boosting the demand for software and ICT solutions as energy companies strive to streamline their energy market processes. Our strong energy expertise and experience make us a very competitive player and support our growth in the Nordic countries,” says Mikko Moilanen, CEO of Enerim.
Göteborg Energi chose Enerim as its partner through a public call for tenders. The agreement will last at least five years, and it is planned that the system will be deployed at the end of 2023.
