Environmental impact
Enerim as a company is committed to minimising the environmental impact of our operations. Our environmental management system is certified according to ISO 14001.
At our offices we strive towards green practices. As a service and software solution provider, our operational carbon emissions are mostly related to the electricity consumption of offices and data centers. Therefore, we have chosen a primary data storage provider that has been granted international energy-efficiency certificates, sources 100% renewable energy and is carbon-neutral.
It’s our business to minimize the environmental impact of our customers
Our services enable significant carbon savings downstream, for example by minimising forecasting errors of flexible energy production and thereby avoiding the use of market reserves, which can be carbon intensive. AI-driven forecasting technologies optimise distribution to reduce emissions. Also, electricity system operators require smart data management solutions to efficiently balance demand with varying sources of energy supply.
As we want to stay ahead of the game, we actively participate in industry initiatives and development projects to facilitate the design of solutions which increase the uptake of renewable resources in future energy systems.
