Enerim has today announced the appointment of Dr. Hannu Jokinen (57) as its new Chief Executive Officer. Hannu will join Enerim in early 2026.
Enerim’s current CEO, Pentti Unkuri (64), informed the Board earlier of his intention to retire. The company has since conducted a thorough search for a new CEO.
Pertti Korhonen, Chairman of the Board, remarks, “I want to thank Pentti for his professional and solid leadership of Enerim. During his tenure Enerim has become a pure-play software and SaaS company, and has further strengthened its position as the provider of the market leading Customer Information System for energy and utility companies.” He continues: “With his strong background in the software SaaS business, and extensive experience in the energy sector across EMEA, Hannu is exceptionally well-positioned to lead Enerim’s next chapter of international expansion. His primary focus will be on driving growth beyond the Finnish market, while maintaining Enerim’s leading position in Finland.”
Hannu Jokinen brings his extensive experience working with software solutions, having held business leadership roles at companies such as Nokia, and Tellabs / Coriant. He joins Enerim from Hansen Technologies, where he led the Energy & Utilities business in EMEA as Senior Vice President. He brings deep energy-sector expertise and a strong commercial track record – with an ability to mobilize an entire organization to work closely with customers and deliver winning solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology (nowadays called Aalto University).
